NOVA SCOTIA
Every epic journey begins somewhere and for brothers Andrew and Kevin, that place is Nova Scotia on Canada’s East Coast. They’re preparing to drive their vintage RV on a summer-long, cross-Canada adventure but before they hit the road, they’re retrofitting their ride to run on recycled vegetable oil. And while mechanical woes and Mother Nature might throw cold water on their ambitious plans, the brothers are hoping to get to a leg up by building portable hot tub suits, so that no matter what happens, a warm and relaxing personal soak is always at hand.

PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND
Brothers Andrew and Kevin are crossing over Canada’s longest bridge in their vintage RV, enroute to Canada’s smallest province, Prince Edward Island. While their cross-country journey is just getting started, the brothers are wasting no time and pouring their efforts into building the necessities for life on the road. As an ode to their favorite beverage, they’re drafting plans to add a brewski-themed mobile shower, complete with beer tap showerhead and sudsy pint glass shower curtains.

NEW BRUNSWICK
Finding a good night’s sleep has been a struggle for brothers Andrew and Kevin as venture across Canada on their vintage RV. Fortunately for them, finding discarded objects on the side of the road hasn’t been so tough. A cast-off kiddie pool in New Brunswick has the brothers sinking their teeth into a floating bedroom that they hope will result in restful snoozes out on the water, far from one another. Fitted out with a domed mosquito net and a drill-powered propellor, this nocturnal vessel will either be a round-trip ticket to Dreamland or a one-way ticket to the bottom of the lake.

QUEBEC
Brothers Andrew and Kevin’s cross-Canada trek in their vintage RV is entering Quebec, the French-speaking birthplace of the culinary marvel known as ‘poutine’. This inspired marriage of french fries, gravy and cheese curds is la belle province’s gourmet gift to the world and the brothers are paying homage to their hosts by building a DIY portable poutine food cart so that they can whip up the calorie-packed dish whenever the craving strikes on the road.

OTTAWA
The latest stop for brothers Andrew and Kevin on their cross-Canada journey is the nation’s capital itself, Ottawa. With its reputation for hot air, the city is a fitting location for the brothers to begin construction of the latest DIY upgrade to their vintage RV: an on-board wood smoker for delicious barbecue delights. A discarded hot water tank provides the spark of inspiration as the brothers fire their imagination and ingenuity to transform trash into yet another one-of-a-kind culinary contraption.

ONTARIO
It’s been a long journey getting to the halfway point of their cross-Canada journey for brothers Andrew and Kevin and their vintage RV. Having entered the picturesque backroads of Ontario, they are all in need of a little push to keep them going. To get them recharged and primed for the second half of the trip, the pair are giving their road house a new paint job while also upgrading it with a (motor)home theater that’ll allow them to kick back and enjoy a drive-in movie experience wherever they choose to park.

MANITOBA
Long haul, cross-Canada adventures can be messy even at the best of times and the hideous lack of decor in their vintage RV has brothers Andrew and Kevin itching for a change. Inspired by the lush greenery that they encounter in the prairie cities and towns of Manitoba, the pair are sprucing up their home on wheels by transforming it into a “car-den” – a garden on wheels that’s fully loaded with plants and topped with nature-inspired decor.

SASKATCHEWAN
The cross-Canada journey continues for brothers Andrew and Kevin as they steer their vintage RV through the wheatfields of Saskatchewan. Hearty roadside meals are an important part of life on the road and after concluding that their cooking setup leaves a lot to be desired, the pair are building a portable kitchen setup from scratch, complete with charcoal grill, DIY foot-operated sink and convenient waste disposal.

ALBERTA
The final stretch of brothers Andrew and Kevin’s cross-Canada journey might be proving to be a bridge too far for their vintage RV. Despite making it as far as Alberta, the penultimate province of their trek, the pair have found themselves stranded in the parking lot of an industrial complex on the outskirts of the city awaiting parts that may or may not arrive. With a lot of time suddenly on their hands, the brothers are creating a tailgating-style parking lot tavern that instantly converts into a mini-bedroom complete with a one-of-a-kind anti-snoring device.

BRITISH COLUMBIA
Brothers Andrew and Kevin are stoked to finally be in British Columbia, the final stop on their cross-Canada journey. While they’ve managed to make it to the beautiful resort town of Revelstoke in one piece, the same cannot be said about their vintage RV which must be towed the rest of the way. With still a long journey ahead of them to reach the coastline, the brothers are designing and building a pair of custom-built DIY EV’s (electric vehicles) for the home stretch: one, a sporty roadster and the other, a work truck with ample cargo space and towing capacity.
