Apache Attack Helicopters
In this episode of Building the Brand we follow the production one of the most lethal and effective of all military helicopters, the AH64D – Apache Longbow. Nicknamed – the Angel of Death, it’s a flying tank capable of silently hugging the ground and creeping up on the enemy. Relying on the element of surprise, and delivering a lethal payload of weapons: 1,200 high calibre bullets, 16 self guided missiles and 38 explosion-tipped rockets, and it’s good, at its job. To build such a powerful and technologically advanced machine takes a 186,000 square meters of factory space, and a lot of skill and patience – for every Apache is painstakingly and laboriously assembled, by hand.
